Business Analyst - Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 3 months

This role supports technology and operations teams by gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, and assisting with project execution. The successful candidate will ensure clear communication, accurate documentation, and smooth execution of IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis & Requirements:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate requirement-gathering meetings and workshops.
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Process Mapping & Documentation:
  • Create and update process flows in Visio.
  • Document current and future-state workflows.
  • Produce clear SOPs and operational documentation.
• Project & Operational Support:
  • Track tasks, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Document meeting notes and action items.
  • Assist with testing activities and UAT coordination.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Coordinate between business partners, IT teams, and leadership.
  • Communicate requirements and project updates clearly.

• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation - 3 Years
• Proficiency with Visio, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint - 3 Years
• Familiarity with workflow or project tools like ServiceNow or Azure DevOps - 3 Years
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills - 3 Years
• Experience with process mapping or IT project support - 3 Years

• Experience in IT or public health environments - 3 Years
• Strong skills in ServiceNow, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, or Power BI - 3 Years
• Knowledge of SDLC or Agile practices - 3 Years
