Automotive Sales Consultant

As a Sales Consultant, you will manage all sales activities, from generating and managing leads to helping our team succeed.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers on the sales floor and perform needs analysis, including vehicle make, type, and features desired.
2. Explain features and demonstrate vehicle operation in the showroom or on the road.
3. Research model availability and optional equipment using our computer database.
4. Collaborate with Sales and F&I Managers to negotiate sales prices, including taxes, trade-in allowances, licensing fees, discounts, and financing or lease options.
5. Inspect inventory visually and walk the lot.
6. Complete all paperwork and coordinate delivery and registration of vehicles.
7. Familiarize customers with their vehicle upon delivery.
8. Attend and complete required training and departmental meetings.
9. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to speak a second language is preferred.
• At least one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills and thorough follow-up to stay in touch with clients before and after sales.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
