Attends a wide variety of meetings (e.g. employee orientation, staff, administrative team, etc.) for the purpose of providing information, recording minutes, coordinating materials distribution and/or supporting the needs of attendees.
Coordinates a wide variety of projects, activities and/or events for the Director of Human Resources (e.g. conferences, workshops, employee benefits and recruitment meetings, FMLA, ADA, Workman's Comp, etc.) for the purpose of completing activities and/or delivering services in a timely fashion.
Facilitates data from a wide variety of diversified sources (e.g. employees, other school districts, government agencies, etc.) for the purpose of preparing reports, making recommendations, and/or preparing information for assigned administrator.
Maintains a wide variety of complex manual and electronic documents files and records (e.g. contacts, leave policies, schedules, regulatory information, databases, etc.) for the purpose of providing up-to-date information and/or historical reference in accordance with established administrative guidelines and legal requirements.
Monitors a variety of activities on behalf of the Director of Human Resources (e.g. employment procedures, employee relations issues, meeting arrangements, etc.) for the purpose of achieving goals and meeting target dates in compliance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Oversees the work activities within the office (e.g. organizing assignments, monitoring progress, arranging schedules, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring completion within established guidelines.
Participates in a variety of meetings, workshops, and/or training (e.g. annual conferences, state meetings, software/system update training, etc.) for the purpose of providing or receiving information, recording minutes, and supporting the needs of the attendees.
Performs record keeping and clerical functions related to employee leave and Sick Leave Bank (e.g. collection of forms, record absence records, system input, report creation, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating and communicating information and/or creating documentation in compliance with established district guidelines.
Prepares a wide variety of complex written materials (e.g. correspondence, event programs, bulletins, reports, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information and/or creating documentation in compliance with established guidelines.
Processes a wide variety of complex documents and materials (e.g. requisitions, travel reimbursements, new regulatory changes, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information in compliance with administrative guidelines and/or regulatory requirements.
Procures supplies and equipment (e.g. copier paper, ink cartridges, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items.
Represents the Director of Human Resources in the Director's absence (e.g. patron input, district staff inquiries, etc.) for the purpose of addressing matters that require immediate attention.
Researches a variety of topics (e.g. current practices, employment policies, parental complaints, legal updates, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and/or recommendations and/or addressing a variety of administrative requirements.
Responds to a wide variety of calls, concern and/or complaints (e.g. employees, employment verifications, community leaders, other departmental leaders, etc.) for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/or referring to appropriate personnel.
Schedules a wide variety of activities (e.g. appointments, meetings, travel reservations/accommodations, etc.) for the purpose of making necessary arrangements for the Director of Human Resources, other administrators.
Supports Director of Human Resources (e.g. compiling documentation for the Director, handling employee benefits, etc.) for the purpose of providing assistance with the functions and responsibilities of the Director.
Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required. Education: Bachelors degree in job-related area. Clearances: Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance, IVP (Identity Verified Print) Fingerprint Clearance Card. Starting Salary: $61,732/ Year 261 Days Position.
