We arecurrently recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Officer, for a 12 month parental leave cover position, who has exceptional payroll knowledge and a proactive, customer friendly approach. This represents a great opportunity to work in an environment that is fast paced, supportive whilst providing autonomy.

The Position:
As an experienced Payroll Officer you will working alongside and supporting the fulltime payroll officer in fortnightly payroll processing in a high volume environment (1200+ staff). You will be quality controlling the establishment of new employees on the payroll system as well as managing any issues arising from terminations or resignations. You must have extensive experience interpreting awards and enterprise bargaining agreements. You will also play a vital role in supporting the HR functions and finance team with month end and year end processes including reporting, superannuation, payroll tax.

You will provide exceptional customer service, providing support and advice with the aim to influence effective and efficient payroll processing at the site level.

Your Profile:
To be considered for this role, it is imperative that you are able to demonstrate substantial full function payroll experience. Exposure to the Aged Care sector will be a significant advantage. Experience with Inerva will be highly regarded.
